There is no doubt that Dr. Martin Luther King has had a significant impact on the history of America and possibly the world. Much can be gained from observing his actions and listening and understanding his many quotes.
I chose this quote because despite there being no doubt that this country has a long way to go, it has also no doubt come a long way from even when Dr. King was walking this Earth with us.
Back then, the thought of mixing races wasn’t an acceptable option to most. Now we have people of all backgrounds on the same team.
We, at Lady Diamond Pros, think of everyone as family, no matter the background. Maybe it’s a product of playing in a diverse place such as New York City, but for over 20 years, LDP has always tried to incorporate everyone, from different ships, into the same boat that is the LDP family.
On this MLK Day, LDP continues to pass on the legacy of Dr. King and will continue for as long as LDP stands.
