Our coaches consist of individuals who have immense knowledge of the game. Our coaches have either played softball and/or have a strong love for the game.

Julia Coaches the 10U team. She played softball for LDP and in high school for Archbishop Molloy, and continues her career playing for the club team at Hofstra.

Connor Moriarty
Connor is the coach of our 14U/16U select teams. Moriarty coached softball at Pace University in Pleasanyville, NY from 2016 to 2018. In 2018 he joined Monroe College Softball as the program's first ever head coach.

Anastasia Pennacchio
Anastasia is the coach of the 14U/16U select team alongside Connor. Anastasia played collegiate softball at Albany University. She is currently the pitching coach at Monroe College.

Now_Allah_James

Now-Allah James
Now-Allah has served as the head coach for NYU Softball since 2014. joined NYU after serving as the head coach at Lehman College in 2013-14 and as an assistant coach at Pace University from 2005-13. In his one season at Lehman, James’ squad posted a 12-21 record, an eight-win improvement (4-24) from the previous season. In his nine seasons as an assistant at Pace, James helped lead his teams to five 20-win seasons (2008-12), including a 29-19 record in 2008.

 

Sam_Rodriguez

Samantha Rodriguez
Samantha played at CUNY Brooklyn College from 2013-2016 and professionally in Puerto Rico. Off the field, Rodriguez has served in roles in both coaching and athletic administration. She is the Head of Operations & Softball Development at 33Rodz Baseball. She was invited in 2018 and 2019 to participate in MLB’s Take the Field program, a diversity initiative geared towards exposing women to careers in professional baseball. She has coached and mentored girls in the “Baseball For All” organization, a nationally recognized non-profit which provides girls opportunities to play baseball. Rodriguez is now an assistant coach for Mercy College.
